"It would be a heaven's gift if a proper drainage system could be arranged in this area where all the drains are covered and do not overflow. When my kids haven't got enough to eat, I don't think global warming will be an issue I will be thinking about".
Mrs Momota Begum, 45, lives with her family in a three-decade old refugee camp in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The camp has water and electricity, but no proper sanitation.
Mrs Begum features in an article published as part of a series leading up to the UN climate conference in December 2009 in Copenhagen on how ordinary people in different countries view global warming. The article was written by the controversial "Skeptical Environmentalist" Bjørn Lomborg,
For years Lomborg has been saying that money should not be wasted on cutting carbon emissions, but it would be spent on water and sanitation.
