WaterAid: Advocacy project gets DFID funding

A project proposal submitted by WaterAid is one of 36 (out of 272 applications) that will receive funding from DFID’s Governance and Transparency Fund (GTF). The GBP 130 million (EUR 166 million = US$ 256 million) fund was launched in February 2007. The title of WaterAid’s project is “Developing Southern Civil Society advocacy in Water and Sanitation in Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, and Central America”.
