Pre Paid Water meters

Leon, comment on South Africa: could water meters be unconstitutional?

People in this beautiful country of us is the cause of our own down fall they know that SA's water resources are limited and it is getting worse if we do not look after this precious commodity and protect it which is a life savings gift to all of us, millions of citizens will starve to death in the distant future. Stop being naive and think for your childrens sake. The only way to protect this precious life savings commodity is to control and protect it by implementing control measures to the benefit of all citizens in SA. This measument is the best there can be for you will think twice before wasting water, how many taps in this country are left open or is dripping away precious water? a life savings commodity which becomes more and more scares year by year in SA. We are facing a tremendous population growth whereby the water recources in SA is not enough to accomodate the growth. The geographical infra structure and landscape in SA is not suitable and viable for the building of more dams and reseviors to see to the needs aff all the people and the growth that goes along with it. One drought in SA without limitations and proper control will bring a entire nations to its knees we experienced many droughts in the past and have been warned that it is getting worse year by year but we are a stubborn and a selfish nation and only think of our present needs for now. Our dams and rivers have now also been contaminated with toxin which makes more undrinkable to all of us. Look to our current electricity sufficiency due to the enormous population growth and how many people are suffering because there is no energy just think what will happen if there is no water? we have been blessed with good rains for the last two seasons but who knows what is in store for us next year, so please stop winding and start thinking of our precious life support commodity and how can we help to protect it and control it for our childrens sake. God blessed all of us with a sound mind and good thinking so please use it!
