Lodewijk de Waal: New chair IRC Governing Board
Mr. Lodewijk de Waal is the new Chairman of the Governing Board of the IRC International Water and Sanitation Centre, taking over from Mr. Joop Hoekman on 1 October 2005.

IRC has published its first new title of 2006: “Ensuring Sustained Beneficial Outcomes for Water and Sanitation Programmes in the Developing World” written by Brian Mathew.
Staff changes
Bep van Oostrom and Joep Verhagen joined IRC as programme officers in the Resource Centre Development programme. Laurent Stravato left IRC to take up a new position at an Italian consultancy firm.
