Water Assessment: New Electronic Data System for On-Site Water System Risk Assessments

Updated - Friday 23 August 2002

Casella Winton have developed a new electronic data system which enables consultants to carry out on-site water system risk assessments with a hand-held palm-top computer and produce reports immediately, subject to laboratory analysis of samples taken. Casella Winton are soon to complete the second stage of the project with the development of an electronic management system. This will be of benefit to companies who: manage a portfolio of buildings and require proactive management of their water systems; use bulky paper based water log book systems; have concerns over ensuring tasks are completed; require access to information more clearly and effectively; need to establish standards and set performance levels.
