Monica Kunihira Kinyanjui executive director of UWASNET (Uganda Water and Sanitation Network), died suddenly on 26 Jun 2002. Ms. Kunihira Kinyanjui was also on the WSSCC Steering Committee and a member of the International Water Academy.
