Latin America And The Caribbean: Establishment of Water Partnership Program

The Netherlands and the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) signed the documents of an arrangement to establish a EUR 9.7 million (USD 10 million) IDB-Netherlands Water Partnership Program to support water-related projects and activities in Latin America and the Caribbean. The resources, which will be administered by the IDB, will help strengthen the Bank's policy and sector work in integrated water resources management. This will include the design and implementation of water-related projects as well as capacity building and training activities in Latin American and Caribbean member countries.
